Love to Jack B

Today my 7 year old daughter came home and said

"Today I decided that Jack B is going to be my husband"

I asked

"Does Jack know about this?"

She replied

"Not yet, but I've written a song for him"

This is the genius that is my 7 year old daughter.

Good News Story - Week 2

Imagine this..

You fall pregnant and carry a healthy baby, but 5 months into your pregnancy, disaster strikes and you go into early labour.

Your baby is born a whole 16 weeks premature, and weighs just 500 grams.

This is exactly what happened to Jose Alvarenga and his family from Asuncion, Paraguay in 2009.

Dr Ernesto Weber, head of Pediatric Care said at the time

The baby had practically no respiratory reflexes and staff could not detect a heartbeat, causing them to declare the foetus dead. A death certificate was issued, and the child was placed in a temporary cardboard coffin.

The family took the little boy home to dress him and prepare him for his burial.

However, when a family member opened the box in which the newborn was placed four hours earlier, the little boy appeared to be breathing and moving.

To the great relief, but tremendous shock of his family, the little boy started crying and was rushed back to hospital, where the good news was delivered to his distraught mother.

After a few hours in an oxygen chamber, the little lad was said to be in a "stable condition".

What an amazing, miraculous outcome?!
